A Delay in Prayer

22 May

There was only 15 minutes left before Salat-ul Isha.

He quickly made Wudhu and performed Salat-ul Maghrib.

While making Tasbih, he again remembered his grandmother and was embarrassed by how he had prayed. His grandmother prayed with such tranquillity and peace.

He began making Dua and went down to make Sajdah and stayed like that for a while.

He had been at work all day and was tired, so tired.
He awoke abruptly to the sound of noise and shouting.
He was sweating profusely.
He looked around.
It was very crowded.

Every direction he looked in was filled with people.
Some stood frozen looking around, some were running left and right and some were on their knees with their heads in their hands just waiting.
Pure fear and apprehension filled him as he realized where he was.
His heart was about to burst.

It was the Day of Judgment!

When he was alive, he had heard many things about the questioning on the Day of Judgment, but that seemed so long ago.

Could this be something his mind made up?

No, the wait and the fear were so great that he could not have imagined this.

The interrogation was still going on.
He began moving frantically from people to people to ask if his name had been called.
No one could answer him.

All of a sudden his name was called and the crowd split into two and made a passageway for him.
Two angels grabbed his arms and led him forward.
He walked with unknowing eyes through the crowd.
The angels brought him to the centre and left him there.
With his head down his whole life was passing in front of his
eyes like a movie.

He opened his eyes but saw only another world.

People were helping others.
He saw his father running from one lecture to the other, spending his
wealth in the way of Islam.
His mother invited guests to their house and one table was being set
while the other was being cleared.

He pleaded his case, I too was always on this path.
I helped others and spread the word of Allah.
I performed my Salah. I fasted in the month of Ramadhan.
Whatever Allah ordered us to do, I did.
Whatever he ordered us not to do, I did not.’
He began to cry and thought about how much he loved Allah.
He knew whatever he had done in life would be less than what Allah deserved and his only protector was Allah.

He was sweating like never before and was shaking all over.
His eyes were fixed on the scale, waiting for the final decision.

At last, the decision was made.

The two angels with sheets of paper in their hands turned to the crowd.
His legs felt like they were going to collapse.
He closed his eyes as they began to read the names of those people who were to enter Jahannam.

His name was read first.

He fell on his knees and yelled that this couldn’t be, ‘How could I go to Jahannam?

I served others all my life, I spread the word of Allah to others’.
His eyes had become blurry and he was shaking with sweat.

The two angels took him by the arms.

As his feet dragged, they went through the crowd and advanced toward the blazing flames of Jahannam.
He was yelling and wondered if there was any person who was going to help him.
He was yelling of all the good deeds he had done, how he had helped his father, his fasts, prayers, the Noble Qur’an that he read, he was asking if none of them would help him.

The Jahannam angels continued to drag him.
They had gotten closer to the Hellfire. He looked back and these were his last pleas.

Had not Rasulullah [salallaahu alaihi wasallam] said,
‘How clean would a person be who bathes in a river five times a day, so too does the Salah performed five times cleanse someone of their sins’

He began yelling, ‘My prayers? My prayers? My prayers.?’

The two angels did not stop, and they came to the edge of the abyss of Jahannam.
The flames of the fire were burning his face. He looked back one last time, but his eyes were dry of hope and he had nothing left in him.

One of the angels pushed him in. He found himself in the air and falling towards the flames.

He had just fallen five or six feet when a hand grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back.

He lifted his head and saw an old man with a long white beard.
He wiped some dust off himself and asked him, ‘Who are you?’

The old man replied, ‘I am your prayers’.

‘Why are you so late? I was almost in the Fire! You rescued me at the last minute before I fell in’.

The old man smiled and shook his head,
‘You always performed me at the last minute, did you forget?’ (And what of those who perform no prayers at all?)

At that instant, he blinked and lifted his head from Sajdah. He was in a sweat.
He listened to the voices coming from outside. He heard the Adhan for Salat-ul Isha and got up quickly and went to perform Wudhu.

Hope it helps open our eyes InshaAllah.

Can I see God?

21 May

Can I see God?

Before you ask me, “Why can’t I see God, if He is really there?”

I will ask you, “Can you see ‘ALL’ the creations of God?”

Can you see the air? But you still believe there is air right?
You can’t even see the ‘cells’ from which you are made up of.
Can you see your brain? But you still believe you have brain right?

erm..okey may be you scan yourself and show me you have brain, but what about the generations which passed without these scanning facilities?
Did they admit they don’t have brain?

Can you see the sun blazing in the mid noon? You need coolers, sunscreens, umbrellas to help yourself from it.

After all a creation of God is so powerful like it makes blind.

       WHAT ABOUT IT’S CREATOR??

HOW MUCH POWERFULL WILL BE THE ONE WHO CREATED ‘THE SUN’?
HOW MUCH KNOWLEDGEABLE WILL BE THE ONE WHO CREATED ‘THE CELL’?

Just because you don’t see it, that doesn’t mean its not there!

I will tell you the story of Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him) who wished to see God.

Moses (Peace be upon him) was in deep love with God and he wanted to see Him without a veil. Remember, he was the one to whom God spoke directly.
Now lets see what God says,

“And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You.” [Allah] said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me.” But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, “Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers.”” [AlQur’aan Chapter ‘The Height’ 7:143]

Look the mountain burst to pieces. Imagine the big giant mountain couldnt bear it’s Lord, WHAT ABOUT WE?
And thats why Moses (Peace be upon Him) fell unconscious.

And remember our Lord said to him, “You can never see Me!”

A man to whom God spoke directly can never see Him, what about we??
Do we have more strength than the mountain which collapsed??

Ofcourse not, so shut your mind YOU CAN NEVER SEE HIM!

And to those who claim they see God daily, like their neighbour…surely they are seeing something but that’s not their (our) God. Then what is that? You need to wait a few more weeks to know it!!

See, WE CAN NEVER SEE GOD, then what makes you to picturize Him. HOW DARE YOU DO IT?

But don’t worry, it is only this world.

Those who believe in Him, and do righteous deeds in the way He mentioned will surely see Him in the Day of Judgement and in Paradise.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said, “The Day Of Resurrection is the first day any eye will look at Allah, the All-Great and All-Glorious” [Collected by Daraqutni & Darimi]

Sahih AlBukhari, Characteristics of Prayer 12: 770

Narrated Abu Huraira: The people said, “O Allah’s Messenger! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?” He replied, “Do you have any doubt in seeing the full moon on a clear (not cloudy) night?” They replied, “No, O Allah’s Prophet!” He said, “Do you have any doubt in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?” They replied in the negative. He said, “You will see Allah (your Lord) in the same way.”

“[Some] faces, that Day, will be shining and radiant. Looking at their Lord. [AlQur’aan Chapter ‘The Resurrection’ 75:22-23′]

So definitely we can see our Lord in the Hereafter,
The One whom we worship daily in our life,
The One whom makes us breathe till this second,
The One who shows mercy even to those who deny Him.

IF WE WORSHIP HIM IN THE WAY HE SAID US TO.

Wisdom behind not seeing God in this life:

I admit I can’t see God in this life, but why?

There will be a reason behind each and every act of God, right?

So definitely there will be a reason behind not seeing God too!

It’s not a mystery, we will get once we think about it.

Imagine, if God is visible to us will anyone deny His presence?

Ofcourse not, and all of the human beings will be believers!!

If God wishes to make all of us as believers, definitely He can.
There are 10s of verses in the Qur’aan stating that, “If God willed, He would have made you one nation”.

Few examples,

“And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed – all of them entirely.” [AlQur’aan Chapter ‘Jonah’ 10:99]

“Had Allah willed, He would have made you one nation [united in religion], but [He intended] to test you in what He has given you; so raise to [all that is] good. To Allah is your return all together, and He will [then] inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.” [AlQur’aan Chapter ‘The table spread with food’ 5:48]

“He has created the death and life, so that He may test you which of you are best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving” [AlQur’aan Chapter ‘The Dominion’ 67:2]

These verses are quite self explanatory, if God willed He would have made us all worship Him.
But what He willed is to stay invisible and test who among us is going to worship Him and do righteous deeds.

We are in no way questioning Him! Whatever He wills, we just obey Him!

But readers!
Even though He is invisible, He gaves us all means to know Him. He sent us numeroussss Prophets.
     He sent us His words.
He gave us brain, wisdom, knowledge, reason to know that He is there now and always.

Now it is upto us, to decide whether we should believe in God or not!
It is upto us to decide whether we should enter His Paradise or not!

Points to Note:

1. I cannot see God.
2. If I cannot see God, then I can never picturize Him too.
3. But I can see Him in the hereafter, if I worship Him in the way He wants me to be.
4. If God had willed, we all would worship Him.
5. But He willed, only to test who among us are best in deeds.

Conversation between an Idolator and a Muslim

13 May

A Conversation between an idolator and a Muslim

Muslim: Hey, how are you? Can I ask you something? What would you say to me, if I broke off a massive piece of rock from a mountain and started worshiping it?

Idolator: Hey, that would be a bit strange

Idolator: I mean why would you worship that?

Muslim: what if I carved an image into the rock, then worshiped it? Would that be better?

Idolator: Maybe…that at least would make more sense I guess

Muslim: But wouldn’t the rock still be….a rock?

Idolator: I don’t think so…now it has a meaning

Muslim: So it’s not a rock anymore?

Idolator: it’s still a rock but now that u have carved something on it u forge the rock and see what’s carved in it

Muslim: Does you think my carved rock could answer my prayers? Or perhaps it’s better to worship the One who created the rock?

Idolator: Hmm…

Muslim: Just something to think about……

Idolator: …Now answering your question, if you are praying to your carved rock and the prayers seem to be working then continue or else just worship the one who creates the rock

Muslim: Hmm…But is the rock really answering the prayers? Or the One who created it, answering the prayers? I mean, if you were to take the rock away, the prayers would still get answered, right?

Idolator: Hmm…True

Idolator: Good question

Muslim: In fact, if this rock had any powers, why couldn’t it carve itself?

Idolator: No idea man !

Idolator: (Confused)

Idolator: You might just worship the One who Created everything

Muslim: So my final question to you is: how come Hindus worship carved rocks? Why not worship the One who created you and the rock!

Idolator: The carved rock is god rite? The one who created the rock is also god rite?

Idolator: So we are worshiping to god

Muslim: How can the rock be God? Because remember, we carved the rock…does that mean we carved God? Isn’t God the Creator not the Created?

Idolator: Hmm…True

Muslim: just something to think about…

Idolator: I guess that means that we carved god on something that he created…ahh this is confusing

Muslim: Ask yourself this, if this craved idol fell on the floor, could it pick itself up? If not, how can it help me if it cant even help itself?

Idolator: No it wouldn’t, its not magic Smile

Muslim: Yeh Smile

Idolator: Hmm…

Muslim: So why do you worship these images? Why not worship the One True God?

Idolator: And who is the true god?

Muslim: Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son or partner, and that none has the right to be worshiped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes.

In the Quran, God describes Himself: “Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” [The Noble Qur’an, 112:1-4]

No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.

Islam also rejects the attribution of any human form to God. All of these are considered blasphemous.

God is the Exalted. He is far removed from every imperfection. He never becomes weary. He does not become drowsy nor does he sleep.

The Arabic word Allah means God (the one and only true God who created the whole universe). This word Allah is a name for God, which is used by Arabic speakers, both Arab Muslims and Arab Christians. This word cannot be used to designate anything other than the one true God.

To A ‘So-Called’ Muslim ‘Jihaadist’!

13 Apr

To A ‘So-Called’ Muslim ‘Jihaadist’!

I saw a blog named ‘Jih@d’, the very first post i saw there was titled Rap song ‘Make Jihad with me’.
It turned my eyes reddd & boiled my blood.

First lemme post what kinda lyrics were they,

“Send me a cruise like Maa’lam Adam al Ansari
And send me a couple of tons like Zarqawi
And send me a drone like Abu Laith al Libi
And Special Forces like Saleh Ali Nabhani

Send me all four and send me much much more
I pray for that on my way to heavens door
Send me four and send me more, that what I implore
An amazing martyrdom I strive for and adore

There’s nothing as sweet as the taste of a tank shell
But it could be compared to being where the mortar fell
But all that could be seen as tasteless
Compared to smart bombs falling when they don’t miss

It was a beautiful day, when that predator paradise missile sent me on my way
A one way ticket with no stops or delays, no problems in the grave nor fear on that day
Or better yet send me a cruise, and send me on a cruise
Family rejoices at the news and follows me in what I do

I profess and strive against those who oppress and transgress
I obsess not depress for martyrdom success
Make Jihad With Me

Allahu Akbar Give Some More Bounty
Attack America Now!
Martyrdom or Victory
We take it Nairobi to Addis – Paradise Inside
Khilafah is here!

We are wiping Israel clear off the globe!”

You finally made it here after the long wait
You enter the training camp and study the din
You officially join the Mujahidin
You attack the kuffar where they oppress and stand
And the allies too to free the Muslim land
And implement Sharia – that´s our goal
To spread Allah´s word to every home
With you or without you Islam will succeed
Take part in the reward – Make Jihad with me!”

U can understand why I turned red after seeing that ‘A Muslim’ wrote this!!

If you are this kind of ‘Jihadist’…I am asking you

  • ARE YOU A MUSLIM?

  • IS THIS JIHAAD?

  • IS THIS THE JIHAAD WHICH OUR QUR’AAN PRESCRIBES?

  • IS THIS THE JIHAAD WHICH OUR BELOVED PROPHET DID?

  • IS THIS JIHAAD?

You drop bombs and kill innocent people and say THIS IS JIHAAD?
You take the Qur’aanic verses out of context and say THIS IS JIHAAD?

Why don’t you take the Qur’aanic verse which says,

“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.” [AlQur’aan Soorah AlMaa’idah 5:32]

Are you sure your bombs are killing only oppressing people??

Are you sure u kill no innocent ones??

YOU LIER!! You kill people who don’t even heard the word ‘Islaam’.  You kill people who don’t even met a single Muslim.
Their first introduction to Muslims is, they are terrorists..

INDEED WHAT A BAD INTRODUCTION!
ALL THIS IS BECAUSE OF YOU!! YESSS YOU..WHO UNDERSTOOD JIHAAD IN A WRONG WAY..
YOU WHO REPELLED PEOPLE FROM ISLAAM!

IS THIS HOW OUR PROPHET MADE JIHAAD?
Are you sure you suffered more the THE MERCY OF MANKIND and more than HIS BELOVED COMPANIONS?

They forgave people, they forgaveee the sinners.. THEN WHY DON’T YOU?

They forgave Hind and an Abyssinian slave Washi Ibn al-Harb who killed Hamza (radhi allaahu anhu).

He was ASADULLAAH..THE LION OF ALLAAH.. THE UNCLE OF THE PROPHET (SAL ALLAAHU ‘ALAIHI WA SALLAM).

Washi killed Hamza and Hind took out his liver and bit it!

But our Prophet forgave them when they embraced Islam!! ISLAAM FORGAVE THEM!! Islam erased ALL THEIR PAST SINSS!!

What made Hind and Washi to accept Islaam? Was that Jihaad?
Nooo.. it was PEACE which made them accept Islam, it was the true divinity which made them accept it!

What was the manner of Prophet (sal allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) when fighting?

Hadith 1.584 Narrated by Humaid (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)

Anas bin Malik said, “Whenever the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) went out with us to fight (in Allah’s cause) against any nation, he never allowed us to attack till morning and he would wait and see: if he heard Adhan he would postpone the attack.

Subhaanallaah.. adhan will avert them from fighting..Why? Because it indicates there are Muslims living in that area..!!!

Look how Islaam protects the life of a human being who worships his Creator ALONE!!

Now you! Are you sure ur public bombs don’t kill any Muslims???

What abt 9/11 attack?? What abt Mumbai attack in India?? Are you sure no Muslim died there bcoz of YOU??

You killed Muslims and you say you are a Jihadist and YOU ENTER PARADISE???

SHAME ON YOU!!!

Even in war our Prophet will not attack without informing..both armies will be prepared.. only if the opposite side betrayed any treaty he (sal allaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) will publicly declare war and they are under danger of ‘any time attack’.

But now! You go around markets and public places and kill people who came there to get something for their life!

You kill people who are simply innocent and who never ever raised their finger against you!

AND YOU SAY ISLAM TAUGHT YOU THIS?? YOU LOSER!

Even in fighting there are certain etiquettes.. Islam teaches you manners in every aspect of life,

• Do not betray any agreements you have entered into.
• Do not plunder.
• Do not commit injustices or use torture.
• Do not touch the children, the womenfolk, the elderly, or other non-combatants of the enemy.
• Do not destroy fruit-trees and tilled lands.
• Do not kill livestock.
• Treat with respect the religious persons who live in hermitages or convents and spare their edifices.

(Ibn al-Athir, al-Kami fi al-Tarikh, Vol.3, p.227)

Try to follow these principles..if not THROUGH YOUR SWORD AWAY!

What did our Prophet say when he got back his home town Makkah?

Did he say, “You people..you drove me out of this city..you tortured me..you insulted me..you threw stones over me.. you made me starve without food..I’m gonna kill you all??”

Did he say that? Did he ever say that?? What did he say??

“He who enters the Sacred Mosque will be SAFE, he who enters the house of Abu Sufyan will be SAFE, and he who shuts his doors upon himself will be SAFE.”

Subhaanallah..NO DOUBT HE (SAL ALLAAHU ‘ALAIHI WA SALLAM) WAS THE MERCY OF MANKIND!!!!

The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) wanted to avoid bloodshed at all costs but you??? THINK IT OF YOURSELF!!

And did you know that FIGHTING AGAINST PEOPLE IS THE LOWEST FORM OF JIHAAD??

           Watch this video..

Subhaanallaah..subhaanallaah..this video tells WHO IS THE TRUE WARRIOR!!

It’s like Umar Mukhtar… the colonizers were all raping/killing and the Muslim army captures two of them as prisoners and one of the Muslim soldiers wants to just kill them. He raises his gun and Umar Mukhtar puts his hands over the rifle and pushes it down. “We do not kill prisoners” (an Islamic principle), he says. Well “*They* do it to *us*!” is the answer. Umar Mukhtar says,

“They” are not our *teachers*!

Yes!! Islam will succeed without you and me!

But this is not the kinda Jihaad to join with you!

“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.” [AlQur’aan Soorah AlMaa’idah 5:2]

And when talking abt the children of Israael, Allah says,

“And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.” [AlQur’aan Soorah AlMaaidah 5:13]

Adam’s son said to his brother,

“If you should raise your hand against me to kill me – I shall not raise my hand against you to kill you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds.” [AlQur’aan Soorah AlMaaidah 5:28]

FEAR ALLAAH!! FEAR ALLAAH!!!
