Replies to ‘Idolators’!

11 May

Replies to Idolators:
As we saw earlier, idol worshiping is not favored by most of the religions. After all they are condemning it. But wherever you go, you see people worshiping created things (idols) as if they are worshiping the GOD.

The most common excuse they have is, “It’s hard to worship the unseen God.

“So, this allows you to worship something other than God?”
“Why is it hard for you when it is not hard for ‘billions’ of people?”

Another thing they say is, “God is present everywhere. Everything is God. We worship God through His creations”.

“Whoa! Worshipping God through His creations? Why do you need this ‘through’? It doesn’t seem logical?
Why can’t you worship God directly?
And again as I have said earlier in the post ‘Is Everything God?’ we can conclude “Everything is God’s” and everything is NOT God.

Anyways, worshiping the Creations doesn’t mean you worship the Creator. It simply means, ‘You worship the Creations‘!”. [And you know that’s wrong]

Again they say, “No no, it’s not the stone we worship. Its God present inside the stone”.

“This is another version of the previous question. God can never be inside a stone which is one of His creations”

“You see, we don’t worship all stones, only special kind of stones. Also gold, silver, brass”.

“You are in a very dangerous position you know. You are more special than a gold or a silver or a brass, aren’t you? So we worship YOU?

What is the authenticity of your practices? If we read your scriptures we find exactly the opposite. So where do you get these things from? From some stupid man or from God?”

“Ok fine, idol worship has no basis in our religion, its wrong. But.. common people can’t worship God without an image. It helps to focus our concentration. When we get trained we don’t need that image. Like in school, in 1st grade you have an idol but when you finish your final grade you don’t need an idol”.

“That’s good atleast you realize its wrong.

Just because a layman cannot worship God without an image, is it ok for him to worship something other than God?

To focus our concentration, there are numerous things we can do, but an idol can never help you. Infact it leads to destruction.

How many people know what they are worshipping is not God?
How many people know they have been cheated n cheated for centuries saying that this is their God?

And coming back to the school :D,
You will not teach your child something wrong in 1st grade and then say he will be corrected later. Would you teach him 2+2=3 in 1st grade and then say its 4 in his final class? Ofcourse not!

Then why would you do this to God, the very most important thing in life?
How many people really reach that final stage?
They die in that evil state worshipping a stone, believing it to be the God for all their life. Its sorrowful.”

{Idol worship, the nearest analogy I can provide you is like calling someone else as one’s father, while his real father is another person. Rejection of one’s father and attributing this very honorable position to another person is a very disgraceful, abominable and disgusting thing any human being will think of doing.

The only one true God is the Creator, Sustainer, Cherisher and Provider. It is He only deserves our worship.

If we make idols of human beings, animals and other created objects, for the purpose of worship, my simple question is, do we earn the Blessings or the Wrath of God?

This is the unpardonable sin any human being can commit. The seriousness of this sin will not equal the analogy provided above.} [1]

Lets get rid of such sins, stop0think!

As salaamo alaykum wa rahmatulaahi wa barakaatuh,

The Qur’an Made Easy

I know, I know. You’ve tired to memorize the Qur’an before. You had such determination. No one was going to stop you this time. At last! The verses that eluded you for so long were now yours for the taking.

You started.

Day 1 was great!

Day 2 was good.

Day 3 was so-so.

Day 4 was a weekend day so you gave yourself the day off.

Day 5 was another weekend day (day off).

Days 6-9 saw the dismantling of your determination and quiet exit from another attempt to memorize (I hope my wife doesn’t say anything to embarrass me)

Sound familiar? I know all too well! Being a native English speaker, the Qur’an was always difficult for me to memorize because I didn’t adequately understand what was being said.

We at E-jaazah.com are endeavoring to make the studying of this glorious book easy for the non-Arabs. We are offering Tafsir, implementation advice, and a user-friendly way to memorize the ayats as effortlessly as possible insha Allaah.

Here is how it works:

Step 1: Join the Class: http://e-jaazah.com/?eps=episode-1304866136

Step 2: After watching the class listen to the “Memorization Helper”. The Shaykh recites the verses and you recite with him. Only focus on the verses covered in class so as to not overburden yourself and be discouraged. The recitation is in an mp3 format so you can listen and recite along while you are in your car, on the train, on a horse (if you have one!) or anywhere else. Listen to a sample here.

Step 3: If available, spend a few minutes explaining to your wife and or children what these verses mean after dinner. Don’t spend too much time as they may not be accustomed to the change in you and you may want to introduce them slowly to keep them fully interested.

Q & A

Question: What am I going to get out of this class, when I’m so busy????

Answer: Insha Allaah you will have a grasp on the ayats that you never had before as you will not only learn the meanings of the ayats from the scholars of Tafsir (Ibn Kathir, Qurtobee, and others) but you’ll also be in a position to implement them into your life.

This will give the Qur’an a whole new station in your life that you may never have had before as you will:

1. Learn the Tafsir of the verses in a user-friendly video

2. Endeavor to implement the verses in your life through your understanding of them

3. Memorize the verses in a way that caters to the Muslim with a busy schedule

Question: How long is it going to take? I’ve started and stopped so many times!

Answer: The classes are about 45 minutes each. The special memorization helper mp3 is around 20 minutes (depending on the ayats covered). However, there is no real need to be sitting and listening for twenty minutes. You can be driving in the car, cooking dinner, or doing both (if you have a grill in the back seat). Classes are once a week, so it will not be a big burden to you insha Allaah.

Question: Where can I find these classes?

Answer: E-jaazah.com Click here to start!

Question: How much does it cost?

Answer: You must agree to make dua for all of the staff and teachers at E-jaazah.com if you benefit from it.

Question: What Surah will we be studying?

Answer: Surah Maryam

Question: Why Surah Maryam?

Answer: Most of the brothers and sisters at E-jaazah are ex-Christians and seem to have a love for the story of ‘Eisa (Jesus). Knowing Surah Maryam is also a great opportunity to help others learn the true nature of ‘Eisa and his Mother (peace and blessings upon the both).

Question: How many classes will there be?

Answer: There will be 9 classes to cover the entire Surah insha Allaah.

Question: How often are the classes?

Answer: Once a week.

Question: I’m really busy these days? How do I know I can make the classes?

Answer: The classes are pre-recorded so that you can cover the material at your leisure. The program is designed for the busy person to learn on a high level.

Image(s) of ‘GOD’ from Hinduism and Christian/Jewism Scriptures!

30 Apr

What’s the image of GOD?

Now that we know God is outside us..we try to understand whats the image of God? Firstly DOES HE HAVE ANY IMAGE?

mm.. to know whats the image of GOD lets look what ‘The Religious Scriptures’ had to say in it.

I begin with Hinduism:

Shwetashvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 Verse 19:

 “Na tasya pratima asti”

“There is no likeness of Him”

(The Principal Upanishad by S.RadhaKrishnan pg 736&737 and in the Sacred Books of East, Volume 15, The Upanishads Part 2, Page no 253)

Soo..there is no likeness of Him..whatever we portray as God should not have any likeness to anything we see in this world..

O my Hindu Readers!

Dont your God(s) look like humans? may be animals too??

Think.. stop0think!

Yajur Ved Chapter 32 Verse 3:

 “na tasya pratima asti”

“There is no image of Him”

(The Yajurveda by Devi Chand M.A. pg. 377)

           wow..what a clear-cut verse!

Look O Hindus, ‘Your’ Scripture says ‘There is no image for God’ .

You have ‘thousands of images’ for God.

What are you doing hun..?

Shwetashvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 20:

“na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam”.

“His form cannot be seen, no one sees Him with the eye”.

(The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg. 737)

(And in Sacred books of the East Volume 15, the Upanishad part II, Page no. 253)

Got it? His form can never be seen. So who saw God and told you that He got 10 heads and 20 hands and He has snake in His head??

 Really.. WHO TOLD YOU THAT?

Yajurved Chapter 40 Verse 9:

“Andhatma pravishanti ye assambhuti mupaste”

“They enter darkness, those who worship natural things.”

E.g. worship of natural elements air, water, fire, trees etc.

It further continues and says,

“They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti i.e. created things”

E.g. created things such as table, chair, idols etc.

(Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Griffith pg. 538)

I really don’t want to interpret this, DO I?

You yourself can understand what you are doing now will make you ‘SINK DEEPER IN DARKNESS!’.

To my Hindu Readers!

Seriously I am asking you ‘one question’ HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE READ YOUR SCRIPTURES ‘FULLY’?

Why don’t you follow it then?

WHY……..?????

I just don’t understand 😦

You are contradicting your Scriptures and that’s not Hinduism anymore!

PLEASE THINK!

I will now move to the ‘Abrahamic Religions’:

In all Abrahamic Religions ‘idolatory’ is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Within Christianity, Protestants strictly prohibit idols and the ‘Catholics’ are quite ‘convinced’ that ‘God has created man in his form’ so it is ‘OK’ to worship God as man. (??!!)

The well-known popular ‘Ten Commandments’ (RSV Exodus 20:3-6) are:

“You shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.”

Look.. we should not make any image in the likeness of anything above the ‘heaven’..

So.. Michelangelo’s images of GOD .. RIGHT OR WRONG?

Exodus 20: 3-5

“Those who hate God make false images of things in heaven and
worship them.”

mm.. so ‘YOU’ are ‘God-Haters’ or ‘God-Lovers’?

Deuteronomy 7:25

“The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire.”

                 woww.. quite SERIOUS.. isn’t it?

Exodus 34:12-14

“12)Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

13) But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

14) For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God”

So it not only prohibits making images of God but it also ORDERS TO DESTROY THOSE IMAGES.

Exodus 20:5

“You shall not worship them.” (False idols and images).

                    NO..NEVER..DONT DO IT..!!

STOP!

In the ‘Torah’:

In a number of places, the Hebrew Bible makes clear that God has no shape or form, and is utterly incomparable; thus no idol, image, idea, or anything comparable to creation could ever capture God’s essence.

For example, when the Israelites were by God in Deut. 4:15, they see no shape or form.

The Bible has many terms for idolatry, and their usage represents the horror with which they filled the writers of the Bible.

Thus idols were stigmatized as,

1. “non-God” (Deut. 32:17, 21; Jer. 2:11),

2. “things of naught” (Lev. 19:4 et passim),

3. “vanity” (Deut. 32),

4. “iniquity” (1 Sam. 15:23),

5. “wind and confusion” (Isa. 41:29 ),

6. “the dead” (Ps. 106:28),

7. “carcasses” (Lev. 26:30; Jer. 16:18),

8. “a lie” (Isa. 44:20 et passim), and similar epithets.

To my Christian Readers!

What is the authenticity that Jesus (Peace be upon him) looked like what you have? What is the proof?

Did Jesus (Peace be upon him) was white-face blue-eyed American? Where did you get this from?

It was hundred years after the disappearance of Jesus (Peace be upon him), they dreamt all these ‘false’ images of him. Most of them are the ‘products’ of Roman Catholic Church and some very unGodly people!.

I am not accusing your scriptures. I am accusing your actions WHICH CONTRADICT YOUR SCRIPTURES!

I know of ‘few’ Hindus and ‘few’ Christians/Jews who do not favour idol worship.. GOOD FOR THEM!

But.. quite a handful of people can’t hide something which is happening apparently within their religion..so THINK!

Sought the help of 'wikipedia'.
